What is a SMART Goal?
A SMART goal is a specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely goal. Each year we set a SMART goal for math, reading and writing. Here are our goals for the 2010-2011 school year!
Math:
85% of all students will earn an average score of a 3 or 4, on the problem solving sections on chapter tests.
Reading:
87% of all students will be able to retell the main idea of a story.
Writing:
86% of all students will be able to write a focused “small moment” story with beginning, and end.
